Jörg Geiger Aecht Kimmel
Country of Origin: Germany.
Ingredients: Juice of heritage pears, cucumber, and gooseberry blended with hydrosols of caraway, dill, rose and lavender. Alcohol free. Lightly sparkling. Gently pasteurized.
Aroma: Notes of dill, green pepper and fresh cucumber with ethereal notes of caraway, surrounded by hints of honey and soft chamomile blossoms.
Taste: The Aecht [Kimmel] requires a bit of daring at the beginning – but it is rewarded. The full, aromatic notes of caraway are accompanied by a sensual taste of fine honey. The formative notes of powdery minerality and tannins are not sweet, but gripping in the middle section and aftertaste. The play between soft, ethereal notes and tense freshness makes you want more.
Serving suggestions: With light, poached fish, sauteed vegetables such as fennel, carrots and cabbage, stews, Mediterranean dishes with cumin such as falafel, hummus, grilled eggplant, hard cheeses
Best well chilled 45 – 50 degrees.
