Beskows
How Fredrik Beskow Created Sweden’s Hybrid Cider
Fredrik Beskow is an innovator at heart. After working for large alcoholic beverage companies, he took his experience and drive with him to the fertile landscape of the Bjäre Peninsula of Southern Sweden, where the unique micro-climate is ideal for growing fruit, and apple orchards and wild berry bushes thrive next to the North Sea. It is optimal for making terroir-driven non-alcoholic beverages.
“We present the essence of a place, captured in a glass.” ‒Fredrik Beskow
After founding Beskows in 2017, Fredrik Beskow’s passion for pure ingredients and sustainable cultivation methods launched him into producing unique hybrid craft ciders. To do this, Beskow creates a bone-dry special cider by fermenting orchard fruits, removes the alcohol, then blends it with cold pressed juices from local fruit.
Today, Beskow runs a thriving beverage production company dedicated to producing beverages that stir the soul without inebriation.
Delmosa & Beskows: Introducing Non-Alcoholic Hybrid Cider to America
Delmosa discovered Beskows in 2019. After flying to southwest Sweden, Bruce spent two days with Fredrik learning about the rich landscape and unique terroir of the Bjäre peninsula. The seed was planted for what would become a new business partner relationship.
“There is a common sense of shared values and long-term meaning.”
Delmosa proudly offers three dealcoholized Beskows cider blends straight from the soil of Sweden’s breathtaking Bjäre Peninsula, where the essence of Earth’s finest ingredients is tasted in every sip.
