Alcohol free sparkling wine made exclusively from the Champagner-Bratbirne (Champagne roasting pear). After at least 3 years of bottle fermentation, matured vintages of the sparkling pear wine are opened and gently de-alcoholized.
The Champagner-Bratbirne is native to the Swabian Albs of Germany, where families, including the Geigers, have been using this rare, unique pear variety to make beverages for generations.
Nose: Fine scent of the Champagne pear, with fine dried pear notes. White flowers and brioche notes complete the bouquet.
Palate: Restrained sweetness and well integrated acidity. Fine taste of the Champagne roasting pear with subtle tannins in a semi-dry finish.
Serving suggestions: An aperitif or with light fish dishes.
Serve well chilled.
